What happens when you feel physical discomfort
Use the steps in the Harmony Method to analyze situations where you experience discomfort:
- The Situation: What happened? What thoughts did you have?
- The Emotion: What emotions did you feel?
- The Expectation: What did you expect to happen?
- The Truth: What was the actual truth in the situation?
- The Need: What was your need in this situation?
- The State: What was your mental and physical state?
- The Strategy (Action): What actions did you take?
- The Consequences: What were the consequences of your actions?
The solution can often involve creating a plan to do the opposite of what you would typically do. By breaking old patterns, there’s a good chance the discomfort can be reduced or disappear.
