2. Reactions

Welcome to Step 2, which focuses on reactions.

This step is about how we react and is an exciting topic that can give you valuable insights into yourself.

When we react negatively, such as with anger or irritation, it can feel like fireworks – powerful and intense.

Such reactions can often come unexpectedly and have long-lasting effects. They can create conflicts and impact good relationships.

Reactions are closely tied to situations, as we discussed in Step 1. Something must happen, or you must fear that something will happen, for you to react. When you react, it influences all your thoughts, emotions, choices, and actions.

Your reactions are a natural response that can also cause physical symptoms like pain or discomfort.
