How to Handle Difficult Emotions

Throughout the program, you’ve learned to focus on your emotions, even when they are difficult. The duration and intensity of emotions determine how bad you feel.

 

 

By staying focused, you reduce the strength of the difficult emotions, and eventually, they fade away. When the intensity of the emotion decreases or disappears, it loses its power over you.
