Exercise: Journal

Pay attention to situations and note:

  1. Do you have negative experiences that repeat themselves? How do these affect you?
  2. Are there situations where you feel unheard or overlooked? How does that make you feel?
  3. Are there aspects of your life that feel difficult to change? Why is it hard?
  4. Are there situations where you feel stuck or unable to move forward? What is holding you back?
  5. Do you feel hopeless due to a lack of clarity? What do you lack clarity about?

 

These are situations that can keep you stuck in a negative state. Write down where you feel stuck and what is preventing you from moving forward.

 

Use the StopStress Exercise for these experiences. Seek advice if you cannot break free from the stuck state.
