  1. In what situations do you experience negative consequences?
  2. In what situations do you do something you don’t really want to do?
  3. Are there any consequences that keep recurring?

 

Reflect on a situation that had negative consequences

  • What negative emotions did you experience?
  • How did you behave in the situation?
  • Did you say or do something you later regretted?
  • Did you feel guilty?
  • Are you afraid of the consequences?

 

Note: If you are afraid of the consequences, remember to use the stop-stress exercise before taking action!
